Sisterhood

While we know little of other languages…

… we know of no word in English that precisely and adequately translates our elven concept for voluntary union. The word fellowship might be used but seems to imply a masculine association, therefore we often use the word sisterhood, which carries a more feminine connotation, since, for the most part we elves resemble in appearance and disposition the human female more than the human male. A couple of months ago, my daughter Anna came rushing into my room and asked me if I'd seen anything funny around here. We live in a beautiful 1930s house surrounded by woods, forests, hills and mountains and nature. I'm a much less disagreeable small creature now. My muse finally got off her bum and sorted me out with a couple of girl faeries, and even a boy angel.
I like my boy angel, he's just a little bit tattered around the edges, probably from being tempted into raiding the cookie jar. But then I have that effect on even the purest of heart.

I can't piffing well draw or paint anything. *grumble grumble* My piffing muse is on holiday and I have this unfinished canvas looking at me saying:
"WELL?"

Right, that's it. I'm going to go and find out what the most annoying and mischievous kind of our race is, and become exactly like them. And then I'm going to eat ice cream.
